Xfactor star Ben Haenow is coming to Hull

Pop star and heartthrob Ben Haenow is playing at Hull City Hall later this month. Phones have been ringing off the hook at the hall as fans are trying to buy a ticket.

The venue holds a maximum of 1800 people when standing, which means there are limited tickets and some fans will be disappointed.

Girls around the city are going crazy and are extremely excited about the star coming to the town.

Bethany Richardson, nine, a schoolgirl from East Hull said: “I love Ben Haenow he is a brilliant singer. I watch the X factor all the time.” She added: “My mum is buying tickets so she can take me.”

Councilor Gwen Lunn said: “The Building needed a makeover and now it is a great place for events such as this one, it really helps to promote the city.”

Now a well-known face Ben is set to come to the town on the 27 April 2016. Doors open at the City Hall at 7pm. Tickets, which are available by calling 01482 300300 or visit www.ticketmaster.co.uk.

The British public watched Ben Haenow, turn from a van driver to becoming a huge success. Ben brought a rocker vocal sound to the competition. He is the former champion of the talent show X Factor. The singer won in 2014, beating fellow constant Fleur East by 57% of the votes.

It is said that he will perform his platinum award single “You got something I need” which was his winners track on the X factor. The track was originally composed by Ryan Tedder and Benny Blanco.

Ben celebrated his 30th birthday earlier this year and announced and gained an opportunity to work by the side of Syco record labels. Simon Cowell and Sony Music are the joint owners of the label. They have worked with musicians including One Direction, Little Mix and Susan Boyle.

There is wheelchair access and facilities available with lift, ramps and toilets. There is even more limited space for disabled people so bookings are required.
