Getting started in InDesign

When getting started with Adobe InDesign, It is really simple to set up a document. First of all, I clicked on new document and inputted all of the relevant options I wanted. Just as a practice I chosen 3 facing pages. Also there is options for my page size. For now I set it to custom and put the width to 49p6 and the height to 64p6. I wanted the orientation to be portrait.

Also when planning the page set up it is important to think about other things like Margins, bleed and slug.

In this demonstration I put the margin to 1p6, the bleed to different settings: top and bottom 0p9, inside 0p0, outside 1p6 and finally set the slug to 0. Once everything is done the page set up is complete.
